Roof Repair Smedway handles Roof Replacement projects across Placitas from full tear-off through final inspection, with a written scope you approve before anything is torn down.
A Roof Replacement project touches every layer of your roof system, from decking to final shingle course, and every layer matters for how long it lasts.
Every Roof Replacement includes a pre-project walkthrough so there are no surprises once tear-off actually begins.
Every Roof Replacement crew lead's credentials are verified before your project is scheduled.
Materials staged and crews scheduled to minimize how long your Placitas property sits exposed.
Material and labor costs are broken out separately in every Roof Replacement estimate.
We explain the tradeoffs of each material option in terms that actually matter to you.
A complete Roof Replacement covers more than swapping shingles — here's what's actually included.
Old roofing is stripped down to the decking, with any rotted or damaged boards replaced before rebuilding.
Ice and water barrier gets installed at eaves and valleys per current code requirements.
Architectural shingles are installed to manufacturer nail patterns and exposure specs, not a rushed approximation.
Metal replacement costs more upfront but often outlasts asphalt by decades in the right climate.
Proper ridge and soffit balance keeps your new Placitas roof running cooler and drier.
All old shingles, underlayment, and debris are hauled away as part of the Roof Replacement scope, not left for you to deal with.
We start with a conversation about your roof's age, material preferences, and timeline.
A crew lead inspects your Placitas roof in person and measures the full scope of work.
Material options and pricing tiers are laid out clearly so you can decide with full information.
Once approved, the crew completes the Roof Replacement to manufacturer spec and provides full warranty documentation.
